SoapWithHope...

I've been cruising on etsy and found several fab shops, but this one I found on My Handmade Registry, which is a really cool site to post your own Wish List for items you'd like to receive from friends and family, say, on your birthday. Blasphemy makes these unique scrubs, and check out the fun packaging! The names are all very unique as well. Inventive! Her etsy shop is SoapWithHope.
Also, if you're interested posting a wish list, check out My Handmade Registry.

Got myself around to making some more boxes...

I got busy last Sunday and finished a couple of mosaic tile boxes, the polymer clay kind. Also made some goddess figures out of clay, and they came out looking like "real" clay after they were baked. Polymer clay is amazing, and there's so much you can do with it.
Keep creating!

Busy taking pictures...

The batteries in my camera fully loaded, I went outside and sought out signs of spring. They are pretty blatant in some cases, and some are a bit "shy," like the violet. Anyway, during the freeze the potato vine leaves curled up in a really interesting way, so I took a couple of pictures of leaf "fossils" as well. After death comes life.... Spring is soon upon us everywhere in the Northern hemisphere.

Spring is almost here!

Yay, there's green fuzz on the trees and my azalea bushes are starting to bloom. They tried earlier, but we had that cold snap that stopped them in their tracks. I took some pictures this morning, but it was windy so I only got one picture that was (almost) sharp. The color is gorgeous, though, and my white azaleas are about to bloom too.

Made a bracelet this weekend, sea and surf inspired. I love shells and beachy charms. How can you go wrong with that? It's for sale in my etsy shop, so if you have a hankering for sandy beaches, this will remind you of that sun and beach vacation...

Kuan Yin pendant...

I like to glue things to other things. Mostly I use paper, and this was no exception. I glued this picture of Kuan Yin to a chandelier crystal teardrop and flanked it with some blue/turquoise beads. I really like blues and turquoises--my fave colors! Anyway, I don't know where my creative muse has gone. She's been absent lately, and I'm only LOOKING at my studio rather than working IN IT. Maybe it just needs a major cleaning... Sigh. I'd like to get back into painting.

I always catch inspiration from Nature around me, but we've had some frosts and all the pretty greens are now brown. They'll come back, but I can't wait for spring to arrive and some HOT weather...
This necklace can be purchased in my shop on Artfire. Click on link on the sidebar.

Sea Goddess bracelet...

I've been into charm bracelets lately, and how much fun they are! Seeing as I live in FL I like the cool, frothy sea colors that are around here. My wardrobe is full of sea colors, and also pinks, reds, and oranges. No subtle shades for me! :)

This is a star flying steampunk angel/fairy pendant on an metal oxidized chain. So much fun to make! The watch parts are from a big bag of vintage parts that I have. You'll see more of these in the future.
